A good addition to the franchise, but you know that the writing is on the wall when they introduce a baby to the marriage, or in this case Joe Pesci. I love the guy, and enjoy him, but it felt like he was used as filler.

Well Pesci was also in the second but he didn't have to be in part 3 and 4. He just wasn't necessary.

I got back from the theater and this is starting on tv! Every time any of the Lethal Weapon films pass on tv I just can't resist. Is stronger than me! I've seen them all a thousand times and I never get tired.

Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are my favorite buddy cop team in cinema, they will always be! Their chemistry are absolutely amazing! And Joe Pesci always hilarious every single time.

For me the Lethal Weapon films are my childhood, I thank to my parents for letting a 8/9 year old children watch this kind of action films with them. I will always feel a special affection for all the four. They might not be perfect but for me they definitely are a part of the reason why the love for cinema started to grow inside of me even at that age.

The playful tone and bombastic action made the success of “Lethal Weapon 2”, but here they definitely went a bit too far. Cheesy and flimsy to obnoxious levels, the humor grows old fast, and except a couple of funny scenes and the bombastic opening, the magic is dead and gone. The story doesn’t even matter, it’s just a long series of skits. I can’t believe this came from the same guy who wrote “Lethal Weapon 2”. Leo Gets shouldn’t have been here, the villains are plain boring, and Lorna just didn’t feel right. Riggs has always been insane, this time they turned him into some kind of weirdo that speaks dog language and eats bone cookies. I appreciated that they filled it with references and inside jokes from the first two films, though.

An action comedy without being bad, unlike the fourth one. That is about as fun and entertaining as the second, just not as good.

Six days to retirement, what could go wrong? Lethal Weapon 3 is a lighthearted action film that’s lost the edginess that made the series so compelling and original. In this installment Riggs and Murtaugh get busted down to patrolmen and accidentally stumble onto a gun smuggling operation. Glover and Gibson are true to form, and Joe Pesci is back to offer his usual comedic relief. But the addition of Rene Russo really drags down the film; her character seems forced and doesn’t feel authentic. However, Richard Donner delivers on the action once again, making for some fun and excitement. Still, Lethal Weapon 3 takes the series into generic action film territory and loses its distinctiveness.

This still holds up, much better than LW4. Mel Gibson's faux ponytail is insane and it wouldn't be a LW movie without some good old fashioned gay panic. Other than that, an effective and fun action comedy.

This movie is a master class on how you have to earn things in movies when it comes to emotions. Apart from the fact that the script is ridiculous, LW3 tries to envoke emotions for Roger killing this boy and the whole movie crumbles under it. His reaction is completely over the top. Falling into a alcoholic depression?! Nope, for the viewers to have some kind of emotion this has to be earned. Darryl‘s character just came out of nowhere. Nick is not even close to him. He is a gang member, heavily armed, shooting at our two protagonists. I think his screen time before he got shot was not even 30 seconds. Then Roger shoots him in self defense and we are supposed to believe that puts him into a depression where he can‘t go home anymore? That‘s a house built on stilts.

Funny and entertaining action movie for which you do not need to use your brain. Its a nice addition to the franchise, however there is not much to compel you to watch it a second or a third time because there is nothing outstanding about it.
Don't get me wrong, if you want to have 2 hours of fun and have a laugh or two, you cannot go wrong with Leathal Weapon 3, but there is just that special something missing that would make this a great movie, you know?!
