[AFFBCN'21] The idea of how harsh living conditions influence artistic creation, establishing a reciprocal dependence, is the main element of interest in this documentary. Anurag Kashyap, Lav Diaz, Rithy Panh and John Woo describe their hard childhoods, marked by violence and poverty, later reflected in some way in their cinema. Although it lacks depth, it is an interesting tribute to the passion for cinema.
