So this was good right? What we got was engrossing. But the thing is, it's 18 minutes long. It's basically a trailer to a larger story. We barely see how her life is with training. We barely see prep for the competition we barely see the ramifications of the competition itself.

This topic and person is so ready for a longer treatment. I want more about this. It's such an interesting tale. The description is "In an ancient sport traditionally reserved for men, 20-year-old female sumo prodigy Hiyori attempts to revolutionize Japan’s national pastime."
This film actually only mentions this premise like once. The film itself has almost nothing to do with it other than yes Hiyori IS a sumo wrestler and DOES want to get it unbanned. Other than that the movie isn't long enough to do anything other than introduce us to who the girl is and what she does.

Make this an hour show us her training show us her dedication to her craft show us MORE. Interview more people in the industry about their opinions on the ban and the sport. Show us other competitors and their views on Hiyori and what she's doing. I've spent more time writing this than I did watching this. This was so well made and shot but shorter than some youtube videos on the topic.

Once again it's good and I loved it but it's a disappointing in it's run time which leaves you feeling like you're hungry after an appetizer.
