Was invited to an early showing of the film and for those of you thinking of going to watch it.. don't bother, unless you are a fan of 80's action cinema and are able to switch your mind off to the inane and brutal action on screen. The premise is implausible - I mean would the world leaders really gather in mourning for the UK Prime Minister, in one place! Its doubtful the public would line the streets either!

Too violent for a 15 certificate, glorifies the killing of others, and excuses use of drones to wipe out terrorists.

London Has Fallen? Hollywood has fallen more likely!

Not bad, not good. Promote violence and well , the end of the movie is really boring. 5/10

Pretty spot on summary, additionally the dialogue was throughout incredibly cringeworthy.
Trying so hard to be badass by using unnecessary insults and cheesy one-liners written by a 12 year old (so it seems).
One-liners can be cool but not like this. Very disappointing movie, even as a brainless action flick.

pathetic patriotic fearmongering bullshit ... first 15 minutes is enough to facepalm. PR movie for white house to sell the tax-waste for the war on terror to the public. Not worth the money to watch this - or even the time

@oya-kesh Wow! Very impressive review. Do you work in the journalism field by any chance? Because it seems like you based your entire review on other reviews and by watching a couple of trailers. You have really (and I mean, REALLY) contributed something beautiful to the world. We could really use more unfettered hatred. You are my hero. (NOT)

I've got what I expected. As a fan of 80s movies as Commando, etc. I love sometimes watch this type of movies. Don't find anything there, it's just action movie with all it needs.

Terrible movie that is factually inaccurate with a lot of fear mongering and xenophobia. It also has some pretty blatant racist undertones as well. Skip this one, don't waste your time.

I honestly can not see how you came to THAT conclusion about it being racist but to each is own...

What a let down, loved the first movie. This just doesn't have the same bite at all, and shows how important a great director is to a project. Gerard Butler is great again as the wise cracking Mike Banning straight out of an 80's action movie, however the graphics, and direction let the whole movie down.

Eh. The action in this is okay but it's just more of the same as the first one. Including the kinda racist/don't F with Merica attitude as the first one. No rec from me.

Hard to believe they made a sequel to Olympus Has Fallen but they did. This time it’s London that gets attacked by terrorists but to my surprise, the US president happens to be there too! This president has seen a whole load of action that’s for sure.

Gerard Butler reprises his role as the bodyguard tasked with ‘getting the hell out of there’ and Aaron Eckhart is back as the pres. It’s formulaic schlock but London Has Fallen does have a couple of zingers up its sleeve (I don’t know where Fuckheadistan is but it sounds bad) and the action sequences on the ground towards the end are surprisingly good.

This is contrasted by some of the shoddiest CGI work I’ve seen in years. For instance, the initial explosion is seen from a helicopter looking down on the streets of London, but it looks more like the explosion in The Dam Busters than a terrorist attack.

London has Fallen is without doubt a load of old cods, but its tongue in cheek humour and half decent final assault put it one slight cut above the bargain bucket straight-to-DVD fare it belongs with.

Best way to watch this: go into kitchen, grab a beer (or more) and some snacks, leave brain in kitchen. That way you might get some entertainment out of it. But even those steps don´t cover for the crappy CGI. All in all I´d take any 80s action movie over this one.

I’m loving the Has Fallen series of movies. Awesome CGI and action sequences. Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart pair up very well, the latter as the POTUS and the former as his key secret service agent right in the middle of the action. Morgan Freeman bring his awesome self to play the Vice President who’s left to make tough decisions in the middle of all the chaos. Outstanding! :flag_us::ok_hand_tone3:
