the movie was enjoyable after all, but there are a few things that clashed, for example using some specific songs belonging to the southern Italian culture when the movie is set in the north of Italy, so to me it didn't feel relatable because it's not part of our culture. I liked the final song tho, 'Scrivile Scemo' by Pinguini Tattici Nucleari was a perfect fit and the song is beautifl. The shots of Verona were amazing.

Overall, the movie was worth watching, but there were some things about the movie that were off-putting and made the movie less enjoyable. The middle part of movie where the two main characters are spiting one another in order to try to get the other to vacate the villa was the least enjoyable part for me. Some of the things they did to one another were too cruel/excessive to be funny or entertaining in my opinion. Also, the lead actress's character was a bit too narcissistic, callous, and cruel to be likeable, particularly in the middle part of the movie, but shows in other parts of the movie as well

A simple, easy romantic movie, delivering exactly what one expects.
The "feud" was a bit unnecessary to the extent they went with it, but at least they didn't drag it out until the end.
I cannot fathom why all the cats had to be CG. The CG cats did nothing special, so they could have just gotten regular, living kitties really.
What also bothered me is that she is a third grade teacher yet she could buy all those designer clothes in a rather expensive touristic city. That is unfortunately even less realistic than the rest of the movie.

I for some reason felt second hand embarrassment for the leads. It was really cringe for me and I continued watching it only to finish it. The chemistry between them in my opinion just wasn't there. I don't even think I need to talk about the stereotypical colored gay best friend.

It was cute, but the wardrobe for kat graham was mostly awful. It felt like they were trying to hide her curves rather than give her clothes that accentuated them. They could have done so much better in that regard, especially nowadays. The story was cute and had nice banter. The most unrealistic thing was them spending one day going through the city of Verona, then to lake Garda and back to a vineyard on the outskirts of Verona by 7 pm. Very unrealistic and what an incredibly exhausting run of a day that would be. This would all depend on the activities, but with how it's portrayed it seemed like an unlikely day spent relaxing around Verona and Lake Garda before an evening at a vineyard. This tends to happen with so many movies set in Italy, showing the characters going between places so easily, yet reality is the opposite. This makes stories like these disappointing in the end because they distort real life too much.

@gota0502 I'm with you on both the wardrobe and the travel time thing. The actress has a beautiful body yet it seemed like she is suffocating in some of the dresses, like they were undersized. Plus it is unfortunately unlikely that a 3rd grade teacher can afford such newly bought designer clothes in a touristic city.<br /> Regarding the travel time, they were having a romantic lakeshore picnic in the sunset, but they had to be there by 7, and it's summertime, so that is just not realistic, even in a romantic movie :D
