Totally watched this movie because Jake is hella gorgeous here! and I wasn't disappointed at all! the dude is so good-looking it's almost unreal ;)

Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway's chemistry is probably my favourite thing about this movie. Hope to see them acting alongside each other again in the future!

I love a good romantic comedy, and I appreciate how this one tried to shine a light on Parkinson’s disease. But the plot was basic, the jokes not that funny, and the ending felt like he was making some kind of sacrifice to be with her. No apology for how he behaved before, how he walked away. Not my favorite. Plus, the more I think about it, did Pfizer pay for this movie?

Just another pixie girl having to be the mom/therapist for his partner. But give her Parkinson and make it her whole personality and at the same time make it irrelevant. They didn't care about Parkinson (the whole convention scene was very nice, but that's the only honesty we saw about it), the just wanted a random disease to give Maggie a reason to be unattainable, cynical and aloof.


Also, how was she paying for all those meds? She was an artist, but we never see her selling her work? She didn't seem to struggle a lot to pay for her meds. [spoiler] Yes, there are the trips to Canada, but???? [/spoiler] This movie was weak, it lacked courage to make a bold statement against the predatory ways of pharmaceutical and health care industry. It didn't even want to go near there, and so we're left with a lot of questions about Maggie.

I don't know. You meet thousands of people and none of them really touch you. And then you meet one person and your life is changed forever.

I watched this movie only because it had Jake and Anne in it. I had no idea it was going to be about a charmer who is in the "cutthroat world of pharmaceutical sales." This movie had a few moments that made me laugh, and Jake and Anne look good together.

Wasn't a huge fan of this movie, it's not terrible mostly only enjoyable cause of Gyllenhaal and Hathaway but felt kinda cheesy or cheap probably better for people who are really into romantic films or just hopeless romantics not for me.

Not a big fan of Hathaway but she's adorable in this one.

Did love this icl, was an obsession for a week then got over it.
