I was loving this movie until I realized
where it was headed. Nothing against the message of the movie, but I’m just tired of horror with a deeper meaning. I just want engaging horror for horrors sake.
Rant aside, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the movie.
I just wish there was a horror explanation for everything and not a metaphor for the real world.
This is such a bias and bigoted movie, dont watch it if you are offended by prejudice.

It starts well, and is very interesting, the middle gets even more interesting. However by the end you realise that it isnt a horror, or a thriller, just another soap box for misandry.

According to this movie all women experience the world in one way, and all men are exactly the same.

I don’t know what to make of this, too much psychology here. It was I waste of time for me and I would only expect only a few would enjoy it.

A psychological horror movie about a woman who's stalked by a strange man that come to her house every night. This movie brought some serious issues, too tense but it was fun enough for me to enjoy. The metaphor are strong. I liked the bits of action in there. Definitely will watch again!

dont understand the bad rating. this is a very interesting and different horror/thriller. its not what you think and it surprises at the end with a very cool twist. you have to think, you have to look beyond your regular movie experience. i like movies like that. also the soundtrack is phenomenal. i guess most of the people got offended by the real topic of this movie, but if you look outside it is like it is.

More of a satire than a horror movie but while it's heavy handed at times, this is still an interesting watch.

Kafkaesque nightmare wrapped in slasher, smart proposal successful in the small details. Her Self-Help book, "Go it alone", seems like a wake-up call for her, as the threat of the mystery man comes every night. Sometimes the metaphor stifles the narrative, but there is a fascinating precision when it shows the denial of a world that is cracking apart. The call for help is googled: "Problem solving for staying alive."

_Lucky_ is an important message awkwardly packed inside a box that is way too large for what it is.

This extended metaphor for the horrendous violence committed every day against women has a lot of very astute things to say, like how women are never safe, how strong they are, how ineffectual the organizations meant to protect them are, how we mustn't let this type of violence to become mundane... Yet it gets a little lost at the outset before finally being delivered in the 3rd act.

That the information takes 80 minutes to reach us when it could've been conveyed more efficiently in far less time does not alter the fact it is definitely worth unpacking.

i thought it was an interesting take on home-invasion horror and Brea Grant did a good job as the main protagonist. at a point though, i did feel it got a little slow and there was a part that unnecessarily became heavy-handed preachy, but it was decent watch overall.
