5.5/10 Some decent kills, methods and body count in this slasher. Its compared to The Burning if only for the camp counsellors being hacked to bits one by one aspect, otherwise it's hardly anything to mention in the same vein of quality as The Burning. It's a bit drawn out at times and some scenes could for sure be cut out entirely or trimmed, but as far as simple and executed well enough isolated slashers, this is a decent one

Watched this in HD and it was so much better than the old vhs version. My favorite scene was where [spoiler] Madman Marz hung one of the men. It was brutal and looked real judging by the actors eyes who was being hung lol.[/spoiler] I think editing let's this movie down a bit and I prefer the very similar movie The Burning as I thought antagonist was better in that particular movie.

Saw this a while back and gave it a second shot with Vinegar Syndrome's 4K release and... my opinion remains the same. The kills are unspectacular and on the whole was pretty dull, as were the cardboard cutout characters. Not sure the timeline when it was filmed, but seems like a clear Friday the 13 More
