[FIRE!! '22] Montgomery Clift's nephew claims he wants to "re-remember" his uncle as someone other than the tormented homosexual, and some of the fabricated truths surrounding his work and his personal life are shattered. There are also gaps that are not addressed, as if they don't fit with the "reconstruction" of the character. But the film reveals how difficult it is to redirect the lies that build a twisted image.
