Criminal psychologist Kate Fuller is assigned to the murder of a man who has seemingly been strangled in his sleep by his wife and the only witness is their eight-year-old daughter, Sophie. As Kate digs into the mystery of an ancient demon which kills people in their sleep, she experiences the same petrifying symptoms as all previous victims and spirals through a chilling nightmare to save herself and Sophie before she dares fall asleep again.

*The Ring* meets *A Nightmare of Elm Street*. A take on sleep paralysis, sleep deprevation and people going nuts on what's real and what's not. It's not as cool as it sounds though, it's nothing we haven't seen before and brings nothing new. The only sleep paralysis scene I enjoyed was the one at the beginning of the third act, the others were mediocre. Cool look for the sleep demon Mara she was creepy as hell towards the end. Acting was fine, weak scares, story was lacking, it got sooo cliché real quick but the worst crime was the pacing.

Wasn’t brilliant, wasn’t awful. It’s a similar plot that’s been done so many times. However, the suspense etc was not to bad and I think this would be scary to lots of people.

I'm a fan of Olga Kurylenko. I first saw her in _Hitman_ (and she's a big part of why I like that movie) then a few more times before watching her steal the show in _Centurion_. So when I heard that there was going to be a Kurylenko-led horror movie in 2018 I was on board. Then it turned out Craig C More
