Agent Carter - 9/10

Agent Carter is a fantastic glimpse into the life of a postwar veteran, but through the eyes of a woman. She is deemed unfit to do the same work that the men are doing, and when she completes an entire mission meant for 3-5 people on her own she is shoved off and almost nearly punished for it. But here's the tantalizing bit. As cool as all of her butt-kicking was, it's when Tony Stark's father Howard calls to promote her to headline S.H.I.E.L.D. with him - that's where the intrigue really sets in.

Could this be something of a backdoor pilot for a spin-off Peggy Carter show, about the origins of the organization behind the wheel today? Personally it seems like a better excuse for a show to me than say... oh Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. does. But it might get too confusing for the general audience to have TWO shows about the same organization airing in tandem, both spin-offs of the same major film franchise, but taking place in two completely separate times. I don't see it happening, even with "Dum Dum" Doogan their also. But for what it's worth Agent Carter is definitely the best Marvel One-Off to date.
