90 minutes of ùnlikeable people speaking pretentious garbage to one another. Watch it again? Maybe I won't!

It was exactly what I thought would be: a bad movie w/ a bad story. Even with a very good cast, the movie goes nowhere. Some fine dialogues, but nothing that justifies to watch it...

Ok I guess!
It was more about the parents than it was about their children. Couple of great comedic moments but somehow with quality actors it falls flat and no significant plot to help.

This feels more like a sitcom than a movie.

Somehow this was written, acted and directed like a middle of the road university black box show? Weird.

This should have been a play or a really cheesy comedy. Such a waste of brilliant actors.

This movie had a bizarre Christian take on marriage, what makes it work, what causes it to fail, and whether certain people should be married at all. It takes itself way too seriously, and there's nothing comedic about it, although it's framed as a rom-com. Unless you're looking for a bleary-eyed view of two marriages and one potential marriage, I'd skip this.

Ick! Diane Keaton is has lost her talent and wears the same clothing in every movie. The plot was terrible and weird. Overall, a flop for me. Wish I hadn’t wasted my time with it!

A good example how famous actors not making a good film. You also need an appropriate script. Unfortunately, this one failed, it's neither a comedy nor a film with a greater message. It turned out to be a long-winded mess.

Pleasantly funny and gives you something to think about when it comes to long-term relationships. The escalation between the parents was underwhelming and could have had a better dialogue, but the conclusion was sweet. The parents (actors) shined in this film for sure. I'd love to see these 4 together again

I was so disappointed that the plot and writing did not measure up to the potential of this cast! And the wardrobe on Diane Keaton... What's with the super-highwaisted belt? Is she meant to be portrayed as much older then the rest of the cast?

Always been a fan of Diane Keaton and also a fan of Emma Roberts. Add Sarandon, Gere and Macy and I was very intrigued and I would say excited to see this one. But unfortunately it falls flat and there just isn't enough romance and not enough comedy. The big players do their thing and it's nice to see them share the screen, however the characters are just weak and is filled with a lot of Christian beliefs and takes on marriage. Lots of monologues and speeches. Emma Roberts and her partner Luke Bracey are actually rather forgettable and fade into the background sadly. Another reviewer said this would have been better written as a play and I must say I agree actually. This felt a little misleading being labelled as a rom-com. It might be worth a one time watch for the cast but unfortunately won't be one you remember in a week's time after.
