Let's just say I cried a lot
about Newt
and I'm feeling very nostalgic about one of my favorite series coming to an end. That aside I feel this was a very good final chapter and I'm very proud of the cast and crew for pulling this off so amazingly after the complications they had. The wait was worth it. Last but definetly not least: *I fucking love Dylan O'brien*

If you liked the other ones then you will probably like this one. There is a decent amount of action but man there are a lot of eye roll moments too. The more I thought about it during the movie the more I start to side with WCKD. Those kids need to look at the big picture of the entire human race.

The city needs to be protected with big walls from cranks but the rebels have jack shit and are fine? There were so many things wrong in the movie that it's not even funny. If you're able to look past that it's entertaining although super cliche.

The first thing wrong was the train chasing scene. It's infesting how the train could stop exactly where newt etc were. It's in fact unbelievable; which is not good.

Too dragged out with recurring saved-at-the-last-moment situations and melodramatic drama. Some cool action scenes mixed in.

@like-a-winter-machine I actually liked that. I am tired of the obligatory romantic happy endings they serve. I like my protagonists to be desolate and rise from the asches ^_^

I rolled my eyes several times during the premiere screening of this millennial gem; am in my early 20's, I may be excused for liking it a freakin' lot.
What started out as an adventure, ended up transitioning into a sci-fi thriller toward the end of the third part - with a few heart-breaking moments I wished had been more intense. I wished they had given the display of emotion more screen time of which there simply wasn't enough. Action, action, action! I guess I really wanted it to stay an adventure until the very end; I understand the decision to turn the series into a thriller. Makes sense. We needed closure and closure we got!
We're back to square one - with just one group of people saved and everyone else left behind on the mainland.
The virus is air-borne, and it is still gonna kill everybody on the mainland.
The open-ended ending seals the fate of the human race. It is an apocalypse... the story, an example of pure fatalism.
And I am sorry for Thomas losing Teresa & Newt... their deaths made me shed a few tears.

Such a waste ...
The main character can cure the world with his blood but he prefers to destroy it. Not a hero, only a selfish kid.
Name a good threquel, go ahead, I'll wait. When I arrived in the cinema to see _Maze Runner: Death Cure_ I saw a father with his teenaged daughter and a gaggle of her friends filling the center of a row. He beamed, so proud to bring his daughter and her skwad to the movies and they were so excited to be there. Then, as the disaster unfolded before me (the silly script, the lazy special effects, the ocean of cliches, and the dependence on deus ex machina for every cliff hanger) I kept thinking back to the father and how he would take the girls' disappointment personally and would stay awake late tonight fretting about how his daughter's ruined slumber party wasn't his fault. The real tragedy is that, after two bearable films (honestly, they were better than _Hunger Games_ or the _Divergence_ trilogies), we were betrayed by this lifeless mess. Leaving the cinema tonight, we were all that despondent dad.

I loved part 1, I liked part 2, and I have mixed feelings about this part, the third and final part. To not spoil anything, there are just far too many questions left unanswered. Although, this is more often the case.
In comparison to the 2 other comparable youth movies that were of the same time as the first Maze Runner, which are the Hunger Games and the Divergent series, this one is the only one I can say about that they can be proud of having delivered a great movie experience. After all, the last Hunger Games movie was far below standard of all the other movies, although this has to do with sticking closely to the books, while Divergent is going to be finished by a TV movie with close to, or even fully, none of the known stars of the big screen movies.

It is why I love Maze Runner the way I do, as they basically were the underdog when the announcements came of it being filmed, while in the end they are the only one who have delivered quality from start to finish. One of the best youth movie series in the recent years.

I was looking forward to watch this movie since it was announced. The maze runner was a great trilogy with greats actors according to me. I was sad to see how one of my favorite characters ended up but that's life. I was hoping until the end a twist, to see him breath again and being cured with the vaccine.. Sad with the ending but cool to see how every one has evolved throughout the trilogy from simple kids to people trying to save their friends by every move necessary. Great movie!
