Chadwick took this movie to another level, his performance made this thriller even more engaging. Dirty and grim, not your typical movie but even though it was a revenge tale I did like how Chadwick played Jacob King. Twists and turns with King laying it out, with just right flavor of action. Watch it and enjoy it.

very good movie with the LA ambiance & mostly super acting from Chadwick Boseman; again. he chooses his films very well & is south african accent is perfect in this movie. Good suspense. Chadwick Boseman supports all the movie, I chose a 10 for this film for its acting I like very much this actor he is sublime in each role is acting

Nothing too over-the-top in the way of violence - everything is done with a reason. Well worth watching.

I'm a sucker for revenge thrillers, essentially all they really have to do is not suck and I'm on board. And _Message from the King_ sure didn't suck. Even if it did, massive bonus points for the kid playing _Payday 2_.

Chadwick Boseman carries it no doubt, but I did feel entertained throughout by 'Message from the King'.

It's a simple film. It doesn't do anything revolutionary or anything, yet still managed to keep me watching with interest for practically all of the 102 minute run time. I like how it More
