It follows a predictable path, but thanks to the true story behind it, it proves to be a fairly engaging watch. The final song at the Albert Hall is particularly good.

This is very much Calendar Girls in the choir but I really enjoyed it. It captures the balance between the determination and sentiment perfectly. It’s not dosed with saccharine, the women seem genuine and Kristen Thomas’s performance is stand out.

1 of the only films to show what lifes really like in an army barracks.
I had a therapist who tried to suggest that my mum couldn't have looked after me properly whilst living as a single mother briefly on 1. Why someone would assume something like that I've no idea.

I've been putting off watching this movie for some time but I'm glad I've finally seen it cause I thoroughly enjoyed it's contents.

This is a simple and predictable comedy drama based off of a true story. The acting was good from most of the cast but there were a few parts where the actual cinematography felt off and something just wasn't sitting right. One bad use that I can remember is near the end of the film when the military wives are on the bus and you can tell that the view outside has clearly been green screened as the same road signs and patches of trees keep passing every give seconds and it just felt off.

Other than that this is a very enjoyable watch.
