Not sure why everyone dislikes this movie so much. I think it has a better story than Snow white and the huntsman and I adored Julie Roberts.

poor movie. it could of been better but with once upon a time being as good as it is kinda makes this film seem second rate.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I didn't hate this movie as much as I thought I would. Granted, it's still not good. It can be a little too mean-spirited to be funny, and can be silly in places where it's not meant to be silly. But it did have a unique take on the "Snow White" story. The costuming is a bit too over the top, and it probably could have done with a rewrite. But it wasn't as much of an abomination as I expected.

I really like Julia Roberts and in this movie she did a great job again. Well, a nice remake of the fairy tale, nothin' real new - but thats oke.

btw: those dwarfs: i first saw them on Baywatch. I always have to think about Baywatch when they appear in other movies/tv shows ^^

i know it wasn't really similar to Disney's Snow White but i much prefer watching this than the Disney's original story tbh.

Don't overthink it. Crude Humour, good acting, decent plot - the rest is movie magic. An Adult Movie that you can watch in background and enjoy as passtime. If you are bored of squeakin* squeaky clean , repeat retelling of old classic fairytales & their reboots etc then these new versions are fab - I loved Into The Woods & I like this one too. I liked the dark twists to old child friendly fairytales and then the sarcastic poke at self humour in these new comedy/dark fairytales - I don't know if there is a 'genre' name but I want more of them.

É um entretenimento familiar vistoso, com uma Rainha Má que faz mais rir por ser idiota que maléfica e a Branca de Neve até que é uma princesa interessante e bela (a jovem actriz Lily Collins). Contudo, não evita ser uma fantochada... um flop que fica-se mesmo só pelo valor visual, pois a nível narrativo é mais uma comédia infantil, um filme inofensivo, inocente e por vezes mesmo demasiado patético. 4,5/10

I liked it because it's a different story, but what the **** with the [spoiler]Bollywood[/spoiler] ending?

Proving that Disney isn't the only name in the celluloid fairy tale business, this movie features a touching story, excellent performances, and a wonderful closing song. Fans of the recent remakes from the House of Mouse should check this out. I waited a while to see this, but it was worth it.

Cinematic pantomime, light and fluffy, very different to the same year's darker Snow White and the Huntsman.

I don't know what score to give it because visually it is stunning, the sets, the costumes, everything is beautiful, also the word that describes this movie best is camp in my opinion, it was a fun watch.
