Dialogue driven slowburn. The premise made me think of *Archive 81* (series on Netflix) with someone doing some dangerous sleuthing in a remote location with the help of physical media, or in this case digital media. The podcast aspect is interesting and the mystery was intriguing the whole runtime. They picked the perfect actress for the role, she's excellent at doing facial reactions to audio. Very crisp sound. Atmospheric.

Really nice filming location and cinematography but with the podcast aspect I kept asking myself "is the video relevant?" and it kinda isn't for a good while (it actually takes the imagination away) but the third act requires video for sure. It got too slow towards the middle and was starting to lose me until the reveal. Not a bad twist but it felt like a weird turn in comparison to the rest of the movie.

I thought it was pretty good for being one person alone in a house, outside of some phone calls. It had pretty good suspense and got pretty creepy at the end.

Had to rewind near the end three times because I kept falling asleep. Pretty boring overall - and the finale… not great. Also the actress has a butt crack at the tip of her nose which is quite distracting (in a bad way).

While overall I enjoyed the movie, and the whole premise was interesting, in the end it felt more like a waste of time.
Like you are going somewhere and everyone keeps telling you that you will see something cool at the end. And when you get to your destination, there is just nothing there.
Another strong performance by Lily Sullivan. The first half of the movie was more of a podcast than a movie though - it was missing pictures. Ultimately however, it delivers, so perhaps this movie is more enjoyable at home (where you may be on the phone the first half hour) than in theaters.
