The original short film that would later become *The Babadook*. Entirely shot in black and white. The closet scene caught me by surprise with how scary it was. It has a lot of similarities with it's full feature length but it's so different at the same time, the entity is nothing like the Babadook it's more of a witch. The characters, the book and the themes being what's the most similar to the full feature. The acting was a bit rough but the sound was well-made. Very decent, I can see why this got it's own film.
