Simon Watterman, a space archaeologist, discovers the "Munchies" in a cave in Peru. Cecil Watterman, Simon's evil twin brother and snack food entrepreneur, kidnaps the creature. What Cecil does not know is that the creature, when chopped up, regenerates into many new creatures and are they mean!

Good lord that was awful. haha. It's a ripoff of the highest order, and it wouldn't be soo bad if it wasn't soo damn cheap looking. It's strictly kiddie fare, though it may only have worked for 80s kids, not sure, as it's basically just a live action 80s cartoon. This is to Gremlins, what Mac and Me is to ET. Shame on you Shout Factory for charging as much as you do for this lazy package...

Gangsta Gremlins who get in a shootout with a Grenade Packin Granny with more heart then most "tough" guys out here and ridin around in stolen 2 seaters running bikers off the road,i couldnt stop laughin at these knuckleheads and lack of respect for authority

It's an Adult Gremlins knock off with sex, drugs, and rock and roll. The Munchies drive a Gremlin, and the paper has a big Gremlin! headline on it. I enjoyed it because it knows it is campy and leans into it.
