The film is terrible. So many interesting ideas were initially included in the film, but they never received development. For example, why did you have to pay attention to the phone of the protagonist? Or the fact that the second husband does not want children (a house without a children's room). But these questions were not developed in the film !!! Moreover, who and why kidnapped the child. 1 out of 10. Wasted time.

it's as if you are watching a mime. you expect the main character to do that one about being trapped in a box. all very scenic but never really explains itself. left disappointed

Like a cool car driving the speed limit, it doesn't push any barriers but looks good and performs well and that's OK. A separated couple look for their missing son in this well shot thriller. It stays in its lane but the cinematography is gorgeous and James McAvoy is one of the most underrated actors working today so it doesn't go very far but at least it gets you there in style. (PS It's a remake of the 2017 French film Mon Garçon, which I also gave a 7.)
