:face_vomiting: Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible... I'm not sure how it does it, but this movie manages to suck and blow chunks at the same time. Good lord, this was awful. When I was in high school (and that's been awhile back!), I used to write stories as a way to "live out" my fantasies; no one ever read them, of course, except me but they were stories of me and a group of my closest friends and all the fights, fast cars, and babes we could ever imagine. This movie made me think of those ridiculous stories and how laughingly foolish they were...only someone, somewhere, somehow, managed to find my notebook full of stories, and they made it into this movie. Seriously...this has to rank as one of the absolute WORST movies ever.
No backstory as to why the cop seemingly had it in for "Case", and just
so many loose ends and non-stories that you couldn't even keep up. Even minutes after finishing this, I still can't tell you
why Justin turned bad, or who the main protagonist was.
It was _Karate Kid_ with some MMA heroes mixed in. Seriously, did MJW really have to produce a film where he beats the top MMA stars? Wow... I'm still shaking my head at this one. And by the way, there are zero memorable fight scenes here with MJW, so don't watch this expecting to see his fights. And the actual "beatdown" doesn't start until the final 20-30 minutes of the movie so save yourself and just skip to that point. This was absolutely horrible. :face_vomiting:

Not a bad sequel to the first one, the characters are all new (except for Evan Peters who had a supporting role in the original) but the plot is on a similar page.

In this one there is 4 instead of just 1 fighters we follow which makes for a good change up.

To be fair I'm not sure any of the 4 could have a movie focused on only 1 of them because it's definitly a case where they got chosen for their fighting abilities more than their acting abilities.

That said they do what their characters require of them and they all manage to get their personalities out on the screen so even though neither of them will probably ever win any acting awards in these roles they are perfectly acceptable.

Michael Jai White steps up on the acting tip for sure as their mentor.

Not a perfect film by any means and the budget seems to only been a 10th of the original film but they make do with what they got and provide a pretty entertaining film, with a kickass soundtrack to boot.

The second time I watched it, the first time I gave it a 6/10 but now I'm willing to raise it up to a 6.5/10.
