Perhaps it's not any single person who killed Sohee, but perhaps it's everyone.

This is a heart wrenching story of systemic neglect at every level of vocational placement, all the way from an initial placement of a high schooler to the Ministry of Education. The first half of the movie follows the failure as experienced by the young girl, So-hee. The second half follows the path the detective took as she traces how each piece of the system failed to provide any reasonable measure of care for that young life. I think the pace of the movie is too laboriously slow to be called a thriller, but there is a continuous tension through the whole piece. The acting is very good. I followed Bae Doo-na (Doona)’s filmography to this. As expected, her performance was stellar and nuanced. I give this film a 7 (brutally told) out of 10. [Drama]

Like a favorite class, it's a little long at times but you don't feel the time pass.

This based-on-a-true-story about a high school girl's troubles with a required internship is a hard and sensitive look that goes so much deeper than any spoiler-ridden review you should definitely avoid.
