Spotty, predictable, decent performances (especially Rutger Hauer) and overall generally likeable.

It suffers a little with poor direction and odd choices of when to slow the pace. The plot is oddly premoniatory for the subsequent decades.

Aside from its age and the cheap budget, it's a solid enough watch.

Typical Stallone when he was best known for this kind of stuff. Dated and not easy to watch by today's standards, by any means, but it was probably a hot item in its time. I would give this one a pass, even for the most die-hard Stallone fans; he was so much better in other movies and just didn't carry this role that well. It definitely starts to drag in several places (enough that I fell asleep watching it) and I just didn't find it interesting enough to merit recommending it. Give it a pass.

I don't think he should have taken the shot. Certainly not enough that I'd tell him that from a hospital bed. Harsh, bro.

If this was the first movie ever about a cop going after a killer and getting scared at how much he can get in his head then I would be like, damn, good on. ya. But...it's not. Not by a long shot. So it's kind of comical to see Sly get all wimped out by having to "think like a killer."

Clásico del cine policiaco y una de las mejores películas de Sylvester Stallone.
