Like an old map, _Noura's Dream_ doesn't cover any new ground but the territory it goes over is of prime importance and can never be explored enough. _Noura rêve_ / _Noura's Dream_ is another film about the difficulty women face in Maghreb (Tunisia in this case), and bears a passing resemblance to last October's _Papicha_. The film, however, is closer to its Tunisian sister, 2018's sublime horror film _Beauty and the Dogs_. We've heard this message before but we need to keep hearing it until the situation is easier for the women of North Africa. At least _Noura's Dream_, a tight film with strong performances and potent directing, passes this message with style.
