I think every "Friends" lovers know this movie. After watching 3rd times "Friends", I decided to watch and it was so emotional the connection between Yeller and the kid. It was just like how it is mentioned in "Friends".

First off, Yeller refers to the color of the dog: Yellow. A children's Western about a stray dog that causes some problems. This movie has a reputation for being very traumatizing for a children's movie. It definitely lives up to it. There's fairly tame stuff like guns, dead animals, and animal violence but the ending could scar a kid. I didn't mind the child actors. The younger one can be annoying, but that's to be expected of a 5-ish year-old. I'm still surprised the older one is expected to act as the man of the house when the mother should be more than capable. A sign of the times, I guess. A decent movie the whole way through. Definitely doesn't deserve the G rating it has.
