Like a Facebook post written in another language: you think it probably has something new and deep to share until you translate it and realize it's the same shit post everyone's posting in your native language.

On the 3rd Day is the story of a woman escaping her abusive ex with her young son, only to get in a car accident on her way out of town. Unfortunately, the vehicle she crashes into is carrying a dangerous cargo that will set in motion a series of events that will culminate in a devasting crescendo on the 3rd day.

The film -- from the directing to the acting to the script -- comes off as amateurish, so the fact the flick originates from Argentina doesn't mean it has a fresh approach to this familiar vampire tale. Like that Facebook post in a foreign tongue, On the 3rd Day has the same thing to say as low budget American horror movies, and says it with just as little originality as the unimaginative stories overflowing or screens at the moment.

The only reason you should watch this is to smile at the over-saturated earnestness this film exudes from its first frame to its last.
