Begins well, and offers some intrigue with its setup. Then it gets silly and contrived, and that undermines what could have been a better film.

well, as a Horror Freak for my opinion it's a pretty boring movie... too many scenes predictable too classic plot... i used often the Forward-Button of my remote control... ==#thumbsdown== `meh`

This movie is like a sequel to a movie we never got to see and I really love the kitchen sink approach that this movie takes where through most of the first half, ALL OF THE THINGS are happening. We have our post trauma final girl trying to figure out what is and isn’t real, we have her being terrorized by the family of victim’s past, we have the potential return of the serial killer boyfriend and we aren’t sure what we can and cannot trust. It all gets stripped away layer by layer with some fun violence and gore along the way, and in the end we are left with the idea that there is no true escape

Starts off with an appearance of a more constructive story, but soon in the first 30 mintues or so we see that there's the typical horror scenario:

After watching this, I really don't understand the dislike for the film. I found it to be a fairly decent horror/psychological thriller with a little bit of added gore thrown in.
