My God that was terrible. I can't believe the writer and director of Timecrimes and Colossal created this piece of crap.

If David Cage made a film... it had a few brief inspired moments, and then it added 50 more ideas.

Intense and exciting, Open Windows is a dynamic psychological thriller. After receiving a mysterious call an obsessive fan is given unrestricted access to an actress’s phone and laptop, but he soon finds himself caught up in a deadly game that spirals out of his control. Elijah Wood gives an incredible performance, and Sasha Grey also proves to have some talent. Presented in real-time and going in and out of multiple video streams on a computer screen, the unique directing style helps to bring an intensity to the scenes. Open Windows is an extraordinarily daring film that is full of suspense and intrigue.

The movie seems promising at first but slowly loses focus towards the middle and ultimately it becomes quite a mess. It's a shame because I loved the concept of this.

I think the story was great with some plot twists which is something that I like. However, the special effects really suck.. and the technology they try to use his ridiculous and unreall

The first half was pretty exciting but after they left the hotel it went downhill. But the concept was interesting haven't seen anything like that.

It's a high-concept thriller full of twists and turns...but it's also a deeply, deeply flawed movie on many levels.

If you are willing to forgive ridiculously dumb twists, utterly unrealistic technology and some bad acting, if you are willing to be in it for the ride, you will enjoy this movie - it's a LOT of fun - but turn off your brain, you'll have to.

Fucked up is always good. That said, some scenes look unfinished (or at least look rather cheap) and they should have given Elijah a different shirt than the ones he always wears on Wilfred :(.

Interesting and intriguing thriller with great suspense. It tackles our unhealthy obsession with celebrities and how we have very little privacy in the digital age. I liked the creativity, the ridiculousness and the presentation used in this film with the constant play on technology. Sasha Grey is the worst thing in this film and it's funny she plays as a terrible actress in here. But Elijah Wood is the perfect cast for his character. Honestly he's kind of the saving grace in this because the whole thing just wouldn't work without him. It has some really cool plot twists that also make absolutely zero sense but I dig it. I enjoyed more than I thought I would although it didn't always hit the mark and was hard to suspend disbelief at times.
