A good sci-fi movie,it keeps you wondering,where is she,what happened..(my guessing was right unlike my wife)and when you understand what's going on,the movie switch you to how to resolve the situation..
the most important thing in a movie where you stuck with one actor in one settings for the entire movie is to keep you hooked,one small mistake and you wil lose interest and fall asleep.. thia movie checked that part of keeping things interesting for me.

The film is really very good, it is not a masterpiece, but I rate it at 8. It shows interesting interactions between a computer and a human. For me it was the biggest duel. How to force AI to cooperate and obtain information that is crucial to solving the problem.

It's not a great movie, but it is good - it held my interest and the situation was interesting. I kept guessing at what was going on and was right about only 1 thing and had no clue about several others.
I am happiest tho, that they actually ended the storyline and did not leave it open-ended.
It is however, a very slow-paced movie.

Quite enjoyable for anyone seeking a mystery sci-fi. The influences from other movies are quite obvious and I won't be listing them to avoid spoilers. Might feel a tad slow at first but just give it some time and the plot starts to unfold.

There are definitely much better movies with similar plots but this one also is worth a watch.

A well done, claustrophobic scifi film. It's nothing spectacular but it's definitely entertaining and worth a watch.

I think the most obvious thing about this movie is it successfully manages to remain confined to a coffin sized cryogenic chamber without losing the audience or any of its thrills. Sure, there are some nitpicks here and there but, really, it keeps you guessing and watching just to find out how this woman ended up in the position she's in. There's a couple of jump scares that are unnecessarily thrown in and, of course, you have to wonder at this woman's time management of the situation but neither of these detract from the fun suspense.

Overall, I would recommend for a fun, if forgettable, scifi thriller.

I didn’t run out of oxygen while watching the film, but I did run out of patience. That is not to say the film is bad, but the plot contrivances did get wearying after a while.

Much in the vein of Buried, Oxygen is a great "single actor, single location, single problem" movie with enough twists and reveals to be an enjoyable ride from start to finish. Laurent is also pretty exceptional, carrying the movie with her believable portrayal of Liz. Great SciFi flick, recommended.

Like a belt around your neck, it's tight, confining and will leave you breathless.

Alexandre Aja demonstrates once again that he knows how to tell a good story and make it look good while he does it.

This movie has been showing up in recommendations for quite some time now, so I took a chance.

It was well made, acting was decent, and money was spent to make it worth watching, except I have seen this concept before.

I probably would not have watched this movie except for the fact that my wife gets home before me.

I would have preferred a 6 pack, a bottle of lube, and a ton of porn.

Not every movie has to be a masterpiece. This one certainly isn't, but I very much enjoyed watching it.

Very enjoyable psychological sci-fi thriller about a woman waking up in a pod and running out of oxygen, she must rebuild her memory in order to save her life. It has nice amount of suspenseful moment that keeps me on the edge. I could literally feel the adrenaline from here. I like how the story unfolds with that cool presentation of flashbacks and amazing camera work. Mélanie Laurent was splendid and M.I.L.O character did great breaking the tension. I just wish it's shorter.

This is good sci-fi. I really enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

I watched it in French because I like watching movies in the original version with the original voices. It’s also my mother (and father) tongue. I don’t know if it’s this movie or maybe I watched too many movies in English but every interactions felt fake. Maybe because a lot of the interactions are with the [spoiler]AI or with other people on the “phone”[/spoiler] which is different in terms of acting than playing with other actors.

Anyway, I liked the premise. It made me think about _Buried_. I liked all the [spoiler]sci-fi twists and how the sci-fi part grows along the movie[/spoiler].

I didn’t like how the AI was sometimes [spoiler]not smart[/spoiler] at all but it just helps the movie. Also the [spoiler]communication[/spoiler] part that always need [spoiler]amplification[/spoiler] and the [spoiler]reach[/spoiler] of it doesn’t make a lot of sense. But again, it helps building the suspense up.

I hope you don't have an irrational fear of confined spaces

Starts out as any shitty Netflix sci fi movie but luckily it turns out to be a tense thriller with an amazing performance by the lead actress.

Although (for the most part) it's just one character and one location, the script is intriguing and suspenseful. Really clever use of camera, an amazing cinematography.
