To quote my friend, this is the most Film4 movie I've seen for a long while. Dripping with 2000's energy, down to the main characters attire and grisly subject matter, P2 is a competant thriller if you're willing to look past the overtly tropey twists and annoyingly dense protagonist. Not bad, but definitely more of a background viewing than one to dedicate your entire attention to.

I really liked how she made some smart decisions. It could be a little more suspenseful or darker, but it is a good movie. Entertaining.

3 Thoughts After Watching ‘P2’:

1. I constantly found myself thinking… how the hell did he ever get that job?

2. The game of chicken was a little ridiculous.

3. It’s a surface-level plot. Very _You_. Not a masterpiece, but it held my attention thanks to the two leads. I kept waiting for it to ramp up a bit more _(I was hoping she would get even more badass after the axe discovery)_, and then it ended. Didn’t hate it tho.

Ahhh.... It's okay. It should've been better, it had a semi-interesting concept and a story I don't think I've seen before, but it loses points a few times during the movie and they all pretty much fall on the shoulders of the antagonist. He's too stupid/silly to take as seriously as you want to take him, and dumb scenes like the dance with the teddy bear take you out of the movie for a minute and make you ask "What the hell am I watching?". So it was okay, but it could've been much better.

A fun little thriller! Very strong performances from all cast members, and while overall the movie was high-adrenaline, I quite enjoyed the small comedic moments as it gave you some time to breathe. As a fan of bottle movies, it was pretty cool to see the film take place entirely in a parking lot of all places. Unique and interesting, but not _too_ scary (save from two pretty gory scenes), so if you're horror-averse like I am, you shouldn't fare too badly while watching, but it will keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire time.

“I’ll have a blue Christmas without you.” P2 is a terrifying thriller that’s intense and frightening. The story follows a businesswoman who’s working late on Christmas Eve and ends up getting trapped in a parking garage by a deranged security guard who’s obsessed with her. Wes Bentley and Rachel Nichols lead the cast and give strong performances that are incredibly engaging. And, the plot is especially well-crafted, and is able to maintain a high level of intensity and suspense throughout the entire film. However, there are some weaknesses; as it gets a bit clichéd and formulaic at times. Dark and foreboding, P2 is a chilling film that delivers plenty of scares.

Entertaining cat-and-mouse game between a psycho security guard and a woman he traps in a parking lot lot on Christmas Eve. For some reason, I ignored this film all these years. It is actually very suspenseful, offering a good chunk of graphic nastiness and some bits of dark humor. The cat-and-mouse theme of this film might not be original, but it still manages to strings up a series of tension filled situations and the parking lot setting does give it an edge. Expect some dumb and frustrating decisions made by the main character, it's inevitable in this kind of films, but that isn't enough to really take anything away from this decent horror thriller. Wes Bentley is delightfully over-the-top and creepy as hell.
