Terribly choreographed action sequences. Exceptionally bad editing and the vfx. Shahrukh's acting has always been lacking range but this one tales the cake for cringey writing and badly acted dialogues (felt like an amateur tiktok). Gave 1 heart too many.

The same-old-same-old story of (almost) any action movie ever made.
Lots of blind nationalism and obedient soldier crap. A good guy turned bad. Terrorism. Biotechnology. Etc, etc. Not unlike any other american action movie since the 70s. It's just that this is Bollywod so, everything is OTT.
If you know what you're getting into, and forget all the flaws of this type of movie, you're gonna have fun.
I knew what I was getting into and had a blast.
SRK still can't act, but his charisma makes up for it. I can't say no to this man's movies.
Also... Deepika Padukone looks astonishing in every single outfit. Specially the bathing suit scenes and that white spandex outfit. I'm a sucker for girls in spandex.
I have to agree with everybody else, that Salman Khan guest appearence was killer. That train sequence was indeed the highlight of the movie and worth the price of admission.
One time viewing. That's it. I'm gonna be generous and give it a 3.5/5.

The story is perfect, with awesome surprises, and the action scenes are good. However, the CGI is so bad

Utterly disappointing movie . They wasted so much money on this crap wow .When i first saw the teaser i felt like this movie has huge potential but nah turns out exactly as one will hope a bad commerical movie to be. First of all I never watched such bad visuals effects in a movie which were so painful for my eyes. I don’t know why they are calling it an action movie where else it’s a parody movie. Srk did his best in this movie . Deepika failed as her character was forcefully added & completely non sense. The dialogues were cheesy and unfunny as fuck .The storyline was too much generic and unoriginal .Action at some places was good .

So overall pathan = generic (bad) storyline + cheesy dialgoues + over the top masala action + bad character writing + logics defying scenes + bad visual effects + salman's chutiya cameo + good songs

Disappointing Once Again


This would have been a great film with such sting cast and big budget

The movie was very predictable with a climax the was the most disappointing part of it .

Gave 3 stars extra just coz of John Abraham whose character is quite interesting and makes the movies tolerable to watch.

The movie has some impressive stunts, exotic locations and catchy songs, but suffers from a weak script, cliched dialogues and predictable twists.

VFX are patchy in few places considering the film's heavy budget.

SRK does his best to carry the film with his charisma and charm, but the character lacks of depth and originality.

Overall, Pathaan is a decent entertainer for fans of SRK, but the film is neither original nor memorable.

I was like, shah rukh, deepika, john, salman, dimple, they gathered all of these stars so this must be at least enjoyable but man I was wrong. Such a generic, empty movie, just waste of talent and resources.

Totally masala film. i.e cliche action with cheesy lines.

Unrealistic but super cool action sequences, almost believable fantastic CGI and weirdly interesting wordplay in the dialogue that nearly made me forget how cringeworthy the content was.

There was an undertone of patriotic struggle throughout the film and religion was portray as another aspect of life rather than a plot point of the story. Take that as you will but personally I liked it.

Got to say though, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham really nailed it down for me that I'm very bisexual. curves and Muscles everywhere folks.
