This movie takes jabs at everything in the movie industry and is highly self-aware of it. It's a movie that knows it abandons all logic and doesn't give a crap about it. One of the best animated films I've seen in years.

I like most of the animated movies that have been coming out lately, but I honestly got bored watching this.

It started strong but it turned boring pretty fast.

This movie sucked. Even my 5 year old niece wouldn't stay to watch it for family movie night. She was also angry that their aren't any main female characters. All we know of is the hippo from Madagascar and the new owl named Eva. Simply not enough balance between the genders... and this movie is boring!!

Not the best outing Dreamworks have ever "dreamed" up, but it still managed to entertain for an hour and a half...

I kept watching for Private and Skipper relationship. Otherwise it's a very boring movie, with few funny jokes, a predictable plot and boring new characters.

ik i watched this when i was heavily feverish and dead but objectively it’s not funny. the jokes don’t land and i don’t know who is out here cackling at these lines

The Penguins of Madagascar are probably my favorite collection of modern animation's current crop of characters. Yeah, there's Spongebob and Minions, but for me, this crack squadron of penguins are the most enjoyable. Skipper is voiced absolutely perfectly and leads his special forces penguins expertly, which is so ridiculous that the concept itself makes me laugh.

This latest movie seems like a last ditch effort to squeeze a few dollars out of the fearless foursome. It's an entertaining enough adventure and the addition of The North Wind, led by Benedict Cumberbatch, is inspired. But this movie is just a little too cute and the villain, Dr. Octavius, is bland.

I need to admit to watching this without the accompaniment of children. I think it may have dampened my enthusiasm some, but there's nothing that makes this latest adventure stand out.

The second best Madagascar movie.

Not near the level of the series.. Shud have just left it alone.

Penguins of Madagascar is definitely a fast-paced, wacky animation that never gets boring, and should keep you entertained & chuckling throughout.

Nice light-hearted comedy. Honestly surprised it's this good.

Not a masterpiece by far or anything, but not a failure of cinema.
