I love this movie. It is a movie about family, finding it and what comes next. The story was wonderful and complex and honest as it carried us on this difficult journey of discovery laden with emotion. It is a human story. It did not come easy and each character was multidimensional and well crafted in the story....basically real....believable. Pacing was perfect: changing and appropriately so. The story was completely character driven and as the characters developed and changed so did their choices and thus to story. I felt the pain, disappointment, anxiety, ease, and happiness of the characters. I shed a few tears and did not sob but I am sure that is because I did not allow myself to be fully enveloped by the story. There were a few flaws in the movie but it is still a very good drama. I strongly recommend this movie.

This is a great movie - fantastic cast, fantastic acting, interesting (and tricky) premise. The relationships were developed and deep, characters were tested and grew. This was the second time I watched it and I heartily recommend it. I give it an 8 (great) out of 10. [Drama]

While the story is middle of the road, Chris Pine and Elizabeth Banks have really good chemistry in this. Almost too good. While the story is a little forgettable, there are some heartwarming moments and you root for the best scenario to happen.

People Like Us is a surprise treat. Its a nicely written family movie with a few small clichés but enjoyable characters and great dialogue keep the movie interesting through the whole runtime. Chris Pine is great and Elizabeth Banks is probably the best she had ever been. Its an emotional story that put a smile on my face. Its unfortunate that this movie hasn't gotten more attention. Its a rare cable gem.

Just watched it for a 2nd time and it was JUST as good as the First!! Great Movie!!
