This film was a surprise plus in my book. When I first sat down to watch it I was expecting a conspiracy theory laden snooze fest. It was anything but that.
Throughout the film you get to learn about the history of The Price is Right. You even get to hear it from the producers themselves and Bob Barker. I personally enjoyed hearing Bob Barker's personal story about how he got the job, how much he loved it and the little things nobody else hears about.
As a tie in to the show we also have another story about an individual contestant who beat the game at itself through his own genius and without cheating in any way. It is amazing to see and without a doubt entertaining. All of this ties into the show as it is today as Drew Carey joins in as well. Great film. Well done, entertaining, informative, and great for anyone interested in multimedia in any way including film history students too.
One of my favorite things about this film is the fact that I never once found myself bored with it. The style is so well blended. I haven't seen a documentary that well done blending past present and future as well as the writers and directors did with this.
