[IFFR'22] The film explores the limits between the virtual and the real, but also reflects on the difference between the dreamed and the unveiled. It's also a vision of a Japanese society that does not express its feelings, still anchored in a representation of women as exploited and sexualized objects. The virtual girlfriend thus becomes the main priority over the real girlfriend, because she can be controlled.
