Like a dating app in heaven, this movie is a site where men swipe right on a female character and she automatically falls in love with him.

Petaouchnok is about two men who decide to start a tour company in the Pyrenees. This idea is far from original (we already had Men on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown this year) and is just an excuse to set up simple comedic conflicts (e.g., a run away horse with its novice rider screaming on its back) but doesn't show the resolution.

On the other hand, it spends much of its time putting disparate couples together without any explanation other than it's what the man wants. Oh yeah, and it introduces magical realism in the third act for absolutely no good reason.

I'm a big fan of Pio Marmaï, but this time not even his affected stammering could save the film.
