This film was really cute and had a lovely message about being kind to one another.I love the Beatrix Potter tales.

This isn't the Peter Rabbit of your childhood (assuming you read Beatrix Potter's heartwarming tale). This is a modern day, revisionist version of the story, with little resemblance to the original. Kids will get a kick out of it, adults will chuckle, but Beatrix Potter will surely be turning in her lettuce patch grave!

I'm afraid this was rather poor, basically a vehicle for James Corden to try and prove how funny he wasn't. Really disappointed. had hoped for much better.

Good special effects and a couple laugh out loud jokes help to keep the very predictable story from going under. It was better than the trailer and what else can you really ask for from a children's film?

A beautiful film and fantastic CGI for the animals but in particular the rabbits. The facial expressions especially for Peter were just amazing and at times even made a grown adult like me teary. I didn't stop laughing the entire way through with a brilliant cast in Domhnall Gleeson and Rose Byrne who were a great pairing

@spuppolsenpai I get not liking this movie but damn, what warrants this reaction? (besides James Corden)

I really enjoyed the Christopher Robin and Paddington movies, I thought this would be a similar movie, but it's not. It tries to be a comedy, not funny at all and the rabbit characters are just awful.

It's pretty good. I had some good laughs. Definitely a PG, family friendly movie. It would be bland and boring without the comedy factor in it.

I guess I forgot to log this one, I don't know why I didn't before. Just a few QUICK thoughts, Peter Rabbit is a strangely decent children's movie that touches on a few bases that the adult-friendly The LEGO Movie harnesses, and manages to secure a jolly little ride. Plenty of fourth-wall breaks, hilariously edited action montages, courtesy of Peter Menzies Jr., ironic jokes, and some glorious comedic timing. Domhnall Gleeson is quickly becoming one of my most favorite Irish actors, and the very second he comes on-screen, he steals the whole movie. The picture starts off slow and imitative, but Gleeson's charming and wild performance makes the feature a worthwhile price of admission. I wouldn't go full-price showing, but a Tuesday discount or MoviePass entrance will be sure to give you a number of good laughs. Very surprised about this one. If you were predicting Sony to treat the property akin to their hideous live-action The Smurfs adaptations, you will be surprised too.

Beatrix Potter’s beloved characters are brought to life in the family comedy Peter Rabbit. After Jeremy Fisher inherits a country farm from his uncle he gets more than he bargained for when a rabble of farm animals, led by a mischievous rabbit, begin pilfering his garden. Featuring Rose Burn along with the voice talents of James Corden, Margot Robbie, and Daisy Ridley, the film has a pretty strong cast. And the CGI is especially good, as are the character designs for the animals. Also, the comedy is really funny, with jokes and gags for all ages. Delivering a lot of laughs, Peter Rabbit is a fun and entertaining film.

I hate Peter Rabbit.

I hate everything about him. What's worst he's voiced by a massive tool. What a stellar cast, but unfortunately get pushed aside for Cordon.

Why are Domhnall Gleeson and Sam Neill characters portrayed as villains? I was rooting for them. The rabbit is ruining the garden crops!

But hey, at least it entertained the kids for an hour and thirty five minutes.

This movie was alright but James Corden was the wrong person to play the titular role and some of the moments that were meant to be funny just weren't. The animation however, is definitely something to marvel at but overall I just think the story rather lackluster.
