Some parts were funny, other parts were just too over the top. The first movie was way better then this one.

Acapella is my thing..so this movie totally nailed it for me. All the singing parts are juz fantastic..!!! Love it!!

I didn't get the same emotional connection from the movie and I actually found myself rooting for the "villains". Theirs is just better, but hey, it's the Bellas' movie so...

In my mind, Das Sound Machine beats Barden Bellas at the competition of end of the movie. I don't know how many times I watched their Tsunami and Light em up performances. And the second movie is better than first one. Ok, there is no good plot at the second movie but I think the second movie is more mature than first.

This is a decent enough follow up to the first installment in this series and it was nice to see a young Hailed Steinfeld here. The comedy held its ground though there were some cringe moments. Overall I liked this.

I loved the first _Pitch Perfect_, which I only caught on DVD, so this one I went to see in the cinema.

Big mistake on my part. It's the only film I've ever walked out of (well, wheeled out of) before the halfway mark.

Yes, it was **that** bad. As a Finnish friend remarked after seeing it, PP2 is very much on the theme "Go USA, everyone else sucks!", and that's basically the plot, which is _lots_ of fun to watch if you're not American... /s

There's little else to hold it together; the recurring jokes fall flat, or are outright offensive in ways the original didn't manage to be, and the music just didn't grab me at all this time. Not even the greats of the original cast can make this anything less than an absolute turkey of a film.

I was all ready to give this sequel a 4 (poor) or 5 (meh) until the finale - which is exceptional. Great mash up, great voices. Everything that we needed for the whole of the movie. The two best things about the original were Anna Kendrick and the a cappella pieces, this sequel had too little of either of them, add that to a script that felt like a string of ad lib zingers and fragmented skits, and this film was nothing noteworthy (pun intended) and they totally wasted Hailee Steifeld's talent. The 6 (fair) out of 10 Is almost solely for the finale number. [barely either Comedic or Musical]

Improves towards the end, but for the most part 'Pitch Perfect 2' is a disappointing sequel.

I wouldn't say it's anything bad, but even soon after viewing I am struggling to remember any good moments from it. I found the cast and music to be the big plus points to 'Pitch Perfect', though both of those things are off in this follow-up.

Anna Kendrick (Beca) doesn't really do anything, at least very little that's even close to being memorable. Skylar Astin (Jesse) takes a back seat, which I don't actually think is a negative. Adam Devine (Bumper) and Rebel Wilson (Fat Amy) aren't as amusing, though the story featuring those two probably did interest me most. Hailee Steinfeld, meanwhile, is an alright addition.

Not a sequel I liked. Hopefully the third film improves upon this.
