Almost every scene in this film made me laugh because it was so bad! Everything about it is very poor.
For me it was like watching a comedy and not an horror film, but I am not going to lie, it was a lot of fun to watch!

Sometimes you say "It's so bad, it's good again." But this one is even SO bad, it's eventually bad again. I enjoyed this one nethertheless! :D

Is it a bad movie? Yes it is. But it also fun and a joy to pick out mistakes in sound and picture. A great watch that you will totally enjoy hence the rating of 10.

An absolute shitshow of a movie, possibly worse than The Room. But for that exact reason, it can be a very entertaining watch given the right circumstances!

The antithesis of filmmaking. Not just for the special effects. The screenplay, acting, tone, illumination, story, setting, are terribly bad done. But I don't know why, these elements give to this movie a unique, nostalgic charm, making worthy to watch this movie more than once.

_Plan 9 from Outer Space_ is like puppy love: all consuming and intense if you're involved, ridiculous and endearing if you're looking at it.

Don't get me wrong, _Plan 9_ is a shit film on every level. Shitty sets, shitty editing, shitty acting, shitty special effects, shitty science... but the love Ed Wood has for the project and for the love of simply making a movie shines through all of that.

Some of my favorite directors (Jim Cummings, Albert Dupontel... ) aren't making movies for money or fame or posterity or even for you, they are making movies for the love of movies, as a tribute to the films that have gone before and because they have no other choice but to make movies.

If they don't have a million dollars they'll make a movie for half that, if they don't have a special effects team they'll make their own, if they don't have time they'll work faster...

_Plan 9_ isn't a great film, it's not even a mediocre film, but it is a touching testament to film making.
