Thanks to the chemistry of The Lonely Island trio, tonnes of celebrity cameos, mockumentary style, and over the top but lyrically impressive songwriting; **Popstar** never failed to impress.

They did the whole mockumentary style really good, and the whole cameos stole the spotlight. Very enjoyable movie.

This movie was absolutely hysterical. I had high hopes and it was even funnier than I expected. Plus I saw Scott Aukerman and kulap at the theater and also Nathan fielder. Good times.

I am still laughing. This movie was great! I love The Lonely Island and I think that's probably the biggest part of why I loved it so much, I think it wouldn't be as much fun for people who don't know them. It's amazing how The Lonely Island always get so many great actors and singers together. Which, for me, made the movie even more fun.

If you love The Lonely Island, you are for sure going to love this movie. If you don't, look them up, listen to their songs (perhaps even the soundtrack of the movie, great new songs), laugh a lot, shake ur booty, laugh some more, start questioning how they do it, laugh just a little bit more and then watch the movie.

As a fan of the Lonely Island and all of the SNL Digital Shorts they did, this was exactly what I wanted from this movie.
The cameos were crazy.

The occasional laugh but overall I was underwhelmed. It was okay. Was happy when the film stopped popping.

I regret not watching this in theater and laughing with the rest of the world. This movie has great laughs. Typical story of a fallen artist, but funny.

I went into this film expecting no more than a silly 90 minutes that I would probably forget... What I GOT was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. This movie was so consistently funny, I found myself laughing hysterically from start to finish. Besides Samberg's satire on the godawful pop music industry, which was absolutely ingenious, one of this movies greatest strengths was the editing...knowing when to cut to a clip of a song, knowing when to continue with a live performance. The comedic timing was impeccable and really amped the already high-energy humor to 11 (that's right, a reference to another hysterical music mockumentary). Everyone was great, the lyrics to the songs were hilarious and the genres they poked fun at were spot on.

It was funny, I have to admit it, was enjoyable and the best parts for me were the scenes of the TMZ's parody, really made me laugh.
