I liked it, but don't pay too much attention to my rating as I like every mock-doc, regardless. I'm a found footage slut, basically.

I went into this movie knowing nothing about it, really. It was on Hulu, and I figured it was going to be your standard found-footage horror schlock. I was mistaken! This is actually less 'horror' and very much more 'crime drama'. You will find yourself invested in the characters and the story, and there is no gore, monsters, aliens, etc. to be found. The film is very much about the characters and the crime.

One of the best things about this film is how it was shot and put together. Although I knew it was fiction, it seems very real, like a true documentary. The actors do a great job too. However, it's the mystery that will really reel you in and keep you captivated.

Shocking, scary and in your face, the reality of this documentary is so unsettling it gave me chills, and made me realize how far some peoplewill go to make sure those in power pay for their crimes. If i could rate this 100 i would.

An eerie and compelling crime thriller mockumentary centering on the murder of three young men in Yellowstone National Park. It's one of mockumentaries that's so committed to the style and I loved that. You won't find typical mockumentary scares but there's a compelling, well-structured story and a genuine air of unsettling mystery throughout this one which manage to draw you in. The narrative bits keep something resembling a focused story moving rather than having a lot of unnecessary fillers or characters yelling at each other. The lead's performance is definitely the strong point of this film. All in all, this is a great film and a nice addition to the mockumentary/found footage genre.
