Damn good sequel. Why is it fans like to toss this one off as some inferior piece of crap? Is it just because of Glover and how he's the opposite of Arnold? I think that was the whole point, and it works... It's got tons of great action, some good scary moments (arguable some scarier than the first) and it expands the mythology. What more could you ask for? Was there just not enough ripped, topless beefcakes for you guys...?

It just doesn't have the same charm that the original did. Danny Glover is a good actor but he is no Arnold Schwarzenegger. Bill Paxton is great though. The city setting is an interesting idea but it is just so absurd that it doesn't work.

So much blind hatred over the years for this flick. I have loved this sequel since the first time I watched it. Awesome cast..come on mannn Bill Paxton?? Whaaat???? From Terminator, Aliens, and now a Predator flick? Badass...r.i.p. brother...Maria Conchita ayayayaya sexy and tough and crazy Gary Busey who was in Lethal Weapon with Danny Glover...and then we get not just one Predator but an entire Lost tribe of them and Kevin Peter hall reprising his role from the 1st one...yeah sounds terrible so far...but wait!!! There's more!!! Tell em what they've won Bob!..then theres the awesome xenomorphic Easter egg at the end...Predator 2 has its flaws but its a more than worthy sequel and a better pass time than 90% of sci-fi flicks that drop these days..."you never see the eyes of the demon..till he comes a callin"

This movie is so much better than I expected, it was amazing!

Damn man! How the hell these movies are so popular? Basically they're all same, same storyline, same type of action, just new environment. Sometimes it's jungle, sometimes it's city. If you've watched the first one, no need to waste your time on other movies in this series, they're all same. The story basically goes like this, men on a mission, encounter the 'Predator', everyone dies except one and that person kills the predator. Same thing over and over again.

A nosedive in quality after _The Predator_. It’s not just cheesy in a way you’d want from a 90s action movie; it genuinely feels like everyone in front of and behind the camera are on drugs. The action sequences are uninteresting and poorly presented (like, what were they thinking with the lighting and editing during the tube scene?), while the racial stereotyping is annoying and feels like it comes from a Michael Bay film. I honestly think this material would’ve worked better if it took the B-movie route, because the dialogue would make more sense that way. Like, how do you go from the peak of 80s testosterone action filmmaking to this? This has almost nothing going for it besides some cool set design, as well as a few moments of gore and comedy (some of which aren’t even intentional).

my phone was quite interesting during this movie

I'm very late on the Predator franchise. Watched the first one a couple of weeks ago, which I found OK, but cheesy because of the silly moments/jokes. But this one... I had no idea Danny Glover was in it, which hyped me quite a lot up from the very beginning, and it was a very opening. I enjoyed this sequel far more than the 1st Predator. It hyped me up quite a lot more for the next 2 sequels (Predators, & Pray).

I am watching this movie moor than 40 times.the first time when i am kid 5 years old in that time he was ferry scary to me,i have good memoris with hem.

Danny Glover, Bill Paxton AND Gary Busey! Trifecta!

A fine cast makes this movie watchable. The first is still the best. This movie is still better than Predators though. That threw a bunch of bad asses on a Predator infested planet with no plot.

Despite a good cast; Predator 2 is only a decent sequel with him randomly killing anyone in Los Angeles who carries a gun.

I respect the filmmakers for trying something different and not repeating the same formula that worked before. Having said that, it's just too silly and over the top.

This is even worse than the first one.

Not the greatest movie, but it did a very high bar to reach following on from the original.

Danny Glover’s performance was the redeeming feature of this movie, I loved the raw emotion.

If Schwarzenegger’s not available...get Danny Glover? The misfit cast is only one of Predator 2’s litany of problems. The story is awful, the characters are terrible, and the cast is pathetically inept. A worse Predator film couldn’t have been made, even if they’d tried. That said, the Predator is still an interesting character and infuses a lot of solid action and terror into the film. However, Predator 2 is an atrocious film that has none of the charisma and excitement that the original had.

The broad and out of touch caricature stereotypes of latin and black gangs dueling it out in LA aside, all I could think the entire time was how much Danny Glover was going to feel all that sprinting and rooftop hopping action in 3-5 business days. Poor man, probably only thing keeping him going at some points was thinking about that sweet check.

I prefer the original Predator as the storyline felt more isolated and streamlined being set in a jungle, focusing on the one-by-one killings of a group of men that showcased that even military trained beefy men couldn’t take out our main antagonist, but more importantly, the gore was much better too.
