One of the best 80s, cheesy, over the top, action movies. The monster design is great. Arnold gives some of he best cheesy one liners deliveries of his career. And the rest of the cast is great too. That sheer amount of body mass is astonishing.

Up there with Die Hard and Lethal Weapon, as one of the best 80's action films. Definitely one of Arnold's best as well.
Gene Siskel called it a Rambo wannabe ? lol. I was never a big fan of those. This movie has way better reviews than any of those movies. For a good reason. Predator is entertaining, thrilling and with many memorable one liners.
Arnold Schwarzenegger has been called a bad actor by many. Watch him in this. It’s probably his best work, period. Even better than his work in Terminator 2.
I also miss Siskel & Ebert. Siskel hated so many classics though.

This movie is great. It's macho and bloody, suspenseful and exciting. Even though some of the special effects are dated, they are still really effective. The predator is an iconic alien creation. Arnold is tough and doesn't yet have the polish he has in later movies.

Oh you best believe I will hold this movie accountable by today’s standard. This is crass, insulting, vile, a testosterone wet dream, as well as (what I assume to be more then one) full of homophobic slurs. I got five minutes in before I wretched and turned it off. Fuck establishment or character I’m just going straight to Alien v Predator which is what I actually wanted to watch in the first place.

That handshake at the beginning between Schwarzenegger and Weathers, the jungle setting, the biceps, the big guns, the one-liners, the Predator design, the brutal action, the spine being ripped out and the explosive ending.

Rewatching Predator never gets old.

Classic Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, very good performance and nice effects for a 87 movie.

Sensationally good, IF you keep in mind that this action classic was filmed in 1987! Arnold in one of it's best roles and a fast and rather gory plot make this you of my favorite action movies!

No matter how you look at it, Predator is one of the absolute best action flicks from the 80s, and also the one that has held up to the test of time the best. Apart from a few special effects at the very end, there's nothing in this that feels particularly dated. I have owned Predator in every format possible, and it has never looked so good as on a 4k Blu-ray. Superb entertainment!!!

This was the movie that you had to be in if you wanted to be a state governor.

Predator is one of the greatest action films of all time and doesn't matter how many times you watch it, you will always love this film for the amazing but intense action in this movie. All of the actors are awesome in this film helping to build up the tension and at points making the hunt almost horror-like.

This is one of those films that show that man is not the most powerful thing in this universe and makes it clear that not everything can be solved with big guns as it takes brains, a lot of people don't realise bu the last 30 minutes of this movie has basically no dialogue as it just builds up the intensity the entire time making the viewer understand the magnitude of the situation. Sure it has all of the cheesy jokes, one-liners and over the top action we expect from an Arnie film but it always goes that little bit further.

Also, I need to mention that the visuals are amazing in this film with the Predator looking amazing and holding up to this day. This movie will forever be a timeless classic among actions fans and sci-fi fans alike.
