Hell hath no fury than a pregnant woman scorned. Fairly decent revenge thriller shot through with an (unhealthy) dose of black humour.

Satisfying horror comedy, similar to "Sightseers", including the satire and cutting humour.

It's an okay movie, but it kind of felt like they didn't really know where to take it.

Well that was different for a revenge plot, some dark humour, some bloody scenes, a pregnant lady that some how her figure was changing sizes each scene but yeah It was a good watch, dark and weird at times and could of been better but I wasn’t expecting greatness knowing it was a cheap budget film..

An OK dark-comedy horror that has flashes of potential but ultimately feels a little underwhelming. Alice Lowe is a terrific comedic actress and someone I've been a fan of since her hilarious turn as Liz Asher in _Garth Marenghi's Darkplace_, so I wish I'd enjoyed this more. The film certainly looks good and the cast are all great but it's slightly let down by the script/story, unfortunately.

I think the biggest problem is _Prevenge_ falls between two stools - it's neither consistently funny enough to work as a comedy (but it does have its moments) nor scary/freaky enough to be a horror. Perhaps if Alice had collaborated with someone on the writing front it would have pulled it more successfully in one of these two directions - preferably the comedy. This film was obviously a bit of a pet project for Alice since she directed it as well but fingers crossed her next film has a more successful identity.

This is a wholly disappointing film from start to finish.
The story is weak and uninteresting. It had the potential to be a reasonable story, but that seems to have been sacrificed for something someone (probably the luvvy brigade) thinks is a bit humorous over drinks and ego massages.
It was incredibly tedious to watch - so tedious I fell asleep twice and had to watch it again just in case I had missed a pivotal moment or two - I hadn't.
I am a fan of British independent film making that shows talent and skill - even if it's not perfect. But this film just fails to make my low standards.

You'd probably find eating a cheese and nail sandwich more interesting - one to miss.

I tried to love it like everyone else seems to, I really did. But I just found it an absolute chore to sit through. A collection of murders stitched together by incredibly gloomy, mundane scenes that did very little to keep me awake.
