A classic documentary for bodybuilding fans, and an introduction to the most influential actor of the action genre.

A fascinating look into the world of professional bodybuilding. I'm not sure how much was actually dramatized or played up for the cameras, but they got some juicy drama out of this with the Arnold and Ferrigno competition. It was clear early on how much charisma Arnie had, so it's no surprise how far he went with his stardom.

I watch this once a year on average. It keeps me motivated for the gym.

These guys had the best physiques in bodybuilding history. Now they look like freaks, then they were 'super men'.

Arnold's charisma is evident. I feel sorry for the portrayal given to Lou Ferrigno. It's sad that Frank Zane didn't wish to partake more in this as he was in unbelievable shape. I didn't appreciate the Mike Katz 'invented storyline'.

And to see Franco Columbu in his prime was poignant this year. RIP Franco.

7/10 - seminal work, but it's a cheap 70s documentary about bodybuilding so that's as high as it can go really!

It was lie, I believe... To cause sensationalism.

It did work! It sounded terrible when he said it.
