A victim of his own anger, the Kid is a Minneapolis musician on the rise with his band, the Revolution, escaping a tumultuous home life through music. OK, so the music's good. But that's on the album, so what about the film? Well, they lost me when [spoiler]the abusive Kid beats Apollonia to the floor, just like his abusive father did before; oh, and what about that scene where the scantily clad female is abandoned alone in the night under the bridge? – pretty disgusting too…[/spoiler] The treatment of women actually made me think of those old James Bond movies, and that's not a good thing. Beautiful scenic drive in Minnesota, though.
