The Dreamworks Renaissance is officially here. This is their best work since Kung Fu Panda 2 and the best Shrek film since Shrek 2. Can not fucking wait for what this studio has in store for the future now.

Shockingly good. WAY better than it has any right to be.

Loved this movie. I watched it earlier with the kids and it was great. Lots of jokes and action. The story was also really good.

Harvey Guillen as Perro absolutely steals the show though. That little chihuahua had the entire theater cracking up every time it was on the screen.

Can you believe that a freaking Puss In Boots movie has a more frightening antagonist than any of the damn Marvel flicks that came out this year?

I love the dynamic between perrito, kitty softpaws and puss it's perfect for a movie. I cannot wait for the next one

This is a really good movie. Brings back the old feeling of watching these cartoons.

This movie rocks, and is a huge improvement on the first film. As much as I love the first film, this one's just on a whole other level. The most obvious improvement is the animation, which is so alive and filled with color that makes it pop. The first film was also well animated, but not nearly to this degree. The fight scenes are also fantastic, especially with death. Speaking of death, wow has he got to be one of the best villains in dreamworks history. WAY better than humpty ever was in the first, which is probably my biggest criticism of the first. Whenever death showed up, chills ran down puss's spine and mine. Watching puss confront his mortality for the first time in his many lives is extremely touching, and the character arc he goes through is just fantastic. In the first film he didn't change much as a character, so I'm glad this movie exists. This movie isn't a masterpiece, but it's a damn near perfect sequel, and I can't recommend it enough.

**Wow!** A 2020+ Universal animation with talent and pride put into their works. Please Universal more Dreamworks films like this and less cheap Illumination films.

Love this series, but the final installation was so disappointing. Maybe the producers shouldn’t have got their last wish?
