Bored and frustrated suburban homemaker Connie and her best pal JoJo, a vlogger with dreams, turn a hobby into a multi-million-dollar counterfeit coupon caper. After firing off a letter to the conglomerate behind a box of cereal gone stale, and receiving an apology along with dozens of freebies, the duo hatch an illegal coupon club scheme that scams millions from mega-corporations and delivers deals to legions of fellow coupon clippers. On the trail to total coupon dominance, a hapless Loss Prevention Officer from the local supermarket chain joins forces with a determined U.S. Postal Inspector in hot pursuit of these newly minted “Queenpins” of pink collar crime.

Loosely based on a true story, this is a passable but overlong comedy drama that borders on the incredulous.

It was a really fun movie to watch and I really enjoyed it. There were moments of laughter, the guy with the coupons was awesome, and of course... Kristen Bell FOREVER! Strongly recommended for a fun movie Sunday night.

You _really_ gotta suspend your disbelief with this movie or you're not going to have a fun time. Do not go into this expecting it to be a 100% accurate documentary about the real-life coupon scam, and do not expect this movie to take itself super seriously. Really wonderful performances from the cast (and what a cast it is!), pretty funny, and very entertaining. Do you feel kinda bad if you end up rooting for the two main characters? Well, yes. Potential cognitive dissonance aside, if you're a fan of Bell or any of the other cast members, and/or are intrigued by the plot, then definitely give _Queenpins_ a watch.

Apparently, _Queenpins_ is based on a real life situation. Googled what happened to the real life people and only the fact that two (actually three) bored and lazy suburban American housewives wanted to get rich exploiting people More
