The story beats are as basic as i don't know what, the ending is laughably predictable and the performances barely passable. Seen strictly as a revenge movie however, it's immensely satisfying. It's Home Alone for grown ups.

The fact that it's quite gory doesn't hurt either.

Lets be honest, we all went to see the movie for the action, for the gore which was spectacular by the way! We all knew what it was about... except the piece of shit who brought his kid to the movie and his wife started yelling at him and due to her sitting next to me she was also yelling in my ear and not even my shushes would calm her down... I mean bitch can't you take it outside?!

Okay, okay... the movie, obviously isn't a masterpiece, the acting? the dialogue? You'll find better dialogue on 4chan... The story? A mix between Taken and Home Alone... But even with its flaws I still enjoyed it... why? I don't know, '90s nostalgia, I guess...

If you're a fan of action flicks, this movie is for you. But keep in mind this is not a _family friendly_ movie...

This is a fantastic, brutal action movie with explosions, gore and Rambo being Rambo. The cinematography takes vibes from Taken, Death Wish and Sicario, and it works well. The pacing is decent and at only 90 minutes it doesn't drag which can happen in these films. If you like action, a little bit of plot and everyone getting brutally murdered - this is the film for you. Definitely worth a watch on the big screen!

Not nearly as bad as I read. Is it a masterpiece? Of course not. It's probably not even better that the previous one. But it might be more memorable. Because of the smart action sequences and the impactful non-layered drama, this movie will probably stick with you more that Rambo (2008). I felt sad at times and I felt really excited with Sly's "choreographied" OTT violence. I expected that much. This is a Rambo movie and it was fun. That should suffice. Is this the best way to say goodbye to the character? Probably not. But I got what I came for.

Rambo (2008) is a masterpiece next to this one.

Boring, not to say embarrassing! The first 30 minutes you can cut away without having missed anything! bla-bla-bla!! The story is flat and not really Rambo worthy! ...and Yes i'm Rambo Fan, but my comment is honestly the truth ^_^

The last two Rambo films have been intense awesomeness. #lovedit Stallone’s just got it as a director. I love his new Rocky/Creed films as well. So good.

Sly back for one last outing as the ever moody but legendry John rambo after all these years rambo has a soft side taking in a old woman and her granddaughter when the granddaughter falls foul to Mexican traffickers, there's only one man who can send them to their maker it's a typical big sky production blood guts tears and triumph
Very well worth the watch and very much enjoyed it sadly this must be the last for rambo as age is catching up as time waits for no man even if his name is John rambo
