It was an okay movie for sure but I can't say there was anything interesting enough to make me want to rewatch this is in the future.

It's an interesting sequel (I know it's rather an adaptation but since they paid MGM for the rights to use the ruby slippers that didn't appear in the book, I feel like it's justified to compare it to the 1939 movie) but I feel like it's rather bland compared to that iconic movie. I did like the (kinda cliché) trope of a doctor assuming Dorothy's adventure didn't really happen and that he is trying to fix her. The tin man and the scarecrow look ugly as frickadoodledee.

It has some creepy vibes at times and also reminds me of Labyrinth in a way.

Small thing but I can't stand it; in the beginning of the movie the doctor says that in two months it will be the year 1900,a new century, the 20th century. EXCUSE ME. THE 20TH CENTURY STARTED IN 1901, I SEE THIS WAY TOO MANY TIMES. NEWSFLASH: THE NEW MILLENNIUM STARTED IN 2001. I KNOW IT'S SILLY AND I WOULD ALSO BE HYPED TO START THE YEAR 3000 BUT FACTS ARE FACTS AND A DOCTOR SHOULD KNOW THAT.
